Blush Beauty Box is a monthly subscription service that costs $34.95 for a one time purchase or $24.95 with a monthly order. This was my first time trying it because the July box promised 7 full sized items. There was also a great promo code that is now expired, but lowered my cost to only $18.00 and also added a free bonus item. There was a glitch at first that really ticked me off. When I finished purchasing the box it brought me to my final submit page and had an offer to purchase a monthly subscription for a lash growing product. I clearly clicked ‘No Thanks’ but it added it to my cart and charged me anyway. It did this to many people and I felt I got scammed. However, they quickly removed the charge after I called, and still included the product! So I was quite pleased with Blush.com’s customer service.
Here you can see the offending lash growing serum plus my free bonus item. I have no use for the lash serum but may use it just to see if it works. Shrug. The bonus item is a Airbrush Eye Refining Treatment. This is a small sample but a little goes a long way. It helps with puffiness and has collagen in it. Very nice!
For some reason my phone automatically saved this picture turned the wrong way. And I have no idea how to undo that. So bear with me. This is going to be a short review anyway because quite frankly, I received so many packages this month that I couldn’t try everything. I really did try. But I am also testing a few products for $ so I am limited to using those products only on my hair for a month.
The items are:
Philip B. Self Adjusting Hair Spray. Value- 22.00I have not tried this due to reasons mentioned above. I can say that I have tried Philip B products thanks to Glossybox and that I loved them. Very high quality.
Lumene’s Vitamin C+ Pure Radiance 24 hour Lotion has a value of $19.99 and is great. It’s one of the very few lotions I can wear on my face. It isn’t greasy at all and has a nice light floral scent. I am very happy with this product!
These Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pad’s are an exfoliating, anti- aging, self tanning wipe. This is a deluxe sample valued at $16.00. I’m scared to use these because I am SO pale. And I hate keeping up with self tanners so.. hopefully one day in Wisconsin the sun will come out so I can get a touch of color and try these. (Seriously, it feels like early spring here!)
This is Hydroxatone’s AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex and is a deluxe sample valued at around $34.00. I really try to stay away from moisturizers because of my skin but the fact is I am almost 30 and I am started to show signs of aging. I need things like this now but I limit them to night use only to avoid my face being an oil slick. This cream is lovely. I hope it works!
This photo is my own of course, those last few were taken from Blush’s website. This is Deborah’s Lippmann’s Holographic Nail Color in “Ray of Light” and costs $19.00. I really liked this color but I do have to say I wouldn’t purchase it at this price. It chipped fairly quick, and was such a pain in the ass to get off. It literally took me 3 days to get all the holographic chips off my nails!
Last but not least is a $16.00 Emani Lip Shine in “Blush”. This is a great color, long lasting, beautiful gloss. Very impressed and I have been wearing this constantly!
As you can see.. this box had a HUGE value compared to what I paid for it. I couldn’t be more impressed with the products and also the service. Great Job Blush Box!
