The latest in Madewell goods.
It is true that I have a shopping problem. I can’t stop myself! Particularly when it comes to Madewell.com
I wait in anticipation of new collections and promo codes to justify why I had to have the latest piece. I took advantage of a recent promo of 40% off of sale styles and free shipping. I’d have to be a fool not to.
I have this tee in 4 colors. Black, White, Lilac, and a burnt orange. I got them on sale for 8.50 each originally retailing at 19.50. I love how soft they are. They fit true to size and are so flattering. I feel comfy wearing them around the house, but can also dress them up to look nice. Plus they wash well, no shrinking or discoloring. I want every color they have!
Same shirt only striped. I made the mistake of ordering two of these in a size up thinking they would shrink. Had purchased them prior to the regular tees. So they are very large on me but I still love them and wear them all the time anyway! I have the color above and also a lovely coral striped version. They retail at 29.50 but I paid about 14.00 each.
These linen tees are insane. They dip in the back and hang loosely in the most flattering way. I cannot wear them out without getting complimented. I did order these all in a size up because I liked the looser fit of them that way. I have this version and also a polka dotted version (very small dots) and a version that is black and white and has cameras drawn on. They retail for 55.00 and I paid 23.00 for each.
These suede flats are lovely. I have the color ‘Gossamer Grey’ which is a very light grey. They are such high quality but fit small. Very tight around the toes so I did have to strech them out for 2 weeks before I could wear them. Now they are perfect! They retail for 59.00 but I paid about 30.
These are a few things I found on their website that are still available. I have so much more! And they add things daily. I don’t live near a store so I have not and will not order jeans/dresses. I feel like those are things you really need to try on. So I will stick to accessories, shoes, and shirts. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for high quality clothing. I will say their customer service is lacking in my opinion. I was sent a post card with a promotional code on it for 25.00 off my order of 75.00 to get me to come back after I placed my first order. It wouldn’t work and when I called customer service they told me basically I was making it up. So I took a picture of it and sent it to them and I got no reply. I think that is pretty shitty of a company plus the phone representative was really snotty about it.
